This app supports GP3/4/5/6/7 (.gp) file formats and provides tablature, slash notation and standard notation. The built-in score library has search, filter and collection functions, as well as a multi-track player and source volume control. There's also a metronome and visual countdown, support for three-level zoom, guitar or bass tailpiece (for left- and right-handed players) and virtual keyboards. You can also adjust tempo and global pitch in real time, loop any passage, and simplify navigation between sections. With WiFi, a web browser, and email, you can easily load files and send emails directly from the app.

NotePad tool to create tablature

Use NotePad tools to edit mono-track tablature for guitar, bass, banjo, ukulele, and mandolin. Supports notations for 4- to 8-string instruments, with 19 built-in sounds, customizable tones and rhythms. You can also export your creations to Guitar Pro 6 and 7 formats to continue creating on the Guitar Pro desktop version.

Q : Can I create or edit sheet music with this app?

A : Unlike the Windows and Mac versions of Guitar Pro, this app does not support modifying notation in existing Guitar Pro files, or creating standard notation. However, you can use NotePad tools to edit mono track tablature. Note that this tool does not support editing drum tracks.
